E Kau a Hua ʻo Kauhua is a specialized writer’s retreat that supports thesis production and documentation perservation efforts of mele. To date, Ka Waihona A Ke Aloha has supported the completion of six theses and the retyping of 4,319 pages of mele as part of the Bishop Musuem’s Welo Hou: Building Connections to the Helen Roberts Collection project.
